PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: January 27, 2015
Last modified: April 10, 2018

OVERVIEW

Radial Insight, LLC (“Radial Insight”) recognizes that visitors to our website (the “Radial Site”) should know how we collect, use, and maintain information we collect or may collect about them. Radial Insight is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of the Radial Site and people who communicate with us. This Privacy Policy seeks to help you better understand (1) how we collect and use your information; (2) how we share and protect your information; (3) your choices regarding our use of such information; and (4) your ability to access and correct your information.

By using the Radial Site, you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy and the [Terms of Use], both of which may be modified by us at any time. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy or the [Terms of Use], please do not use the Radial Site or share your personally identifiable information with us as discussed below.

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit the Radial Site or share your personally identifiable information with us, as discussed below. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to the Radial Site and not to any other website or web-based resources linked to ours. We do not control the privacy policies or practices of others. We encourage you to ask questions and read the privacy policies of other websites before you disclose any personal information to them.

CHILDREN NOT ELIGIBLE TO USE THE RADIAL SITE

We encourage everyone to visit the Radial Site to share their opinion. Children, however, are not eligible to use Radial Site. We ask that minors not submit any personal information to us. Parents or guardians should become knowledgeable about software and other tools so they can assure that children’s use of the internet reflects parental preferences and requirements.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS AND DO NOT TRACK DISCLOSURE

If you are a California resident, you may ask us to refrain from sharing your information (whether collected online or offline) with our affiliates and other third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Please tell us your preference by contacting us as indicated in the “Feedback” section of this Privacy Notice.

Because there is not yet a consensus on how companies should respond to web browser-based or other do-not-track (“DNT”) mechanisms, the Radial Site does not respond to web browser-based DNT signals.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Radial Insight collects information to provide better services to all users. Radial Insight collects both personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information from you in a number or ways.

Personally identifiable information is generally information that identifies you, such as your name, telephone number, postal address, email address, and birth date. If you sign up to take Radial Insight surveys, for example, you will directly provide us with personally identifiable information.

Non-personally identifiable information is information that does not personally identify you, including anonymous information and aggregate data. Radial Insight uses this information to understand better how visitors use the Radial Site, research our visitors’ demographics, interests, and behavior, provide visitors with customized services and information, improve our promotional and outreach efforts, and for other similar purposes.

HOW WE COLLECT AND USE INFORMATION

Overview

We collect information in three primary ways: (1) information you provide to us when you use the Radial Site; (2) information we collect through various technologies related to your use of the Radial Site; and (3) information we collect through other trusted sources that may be used to update or supplement the information you provided or we collected.

We use information to the extent required by law, for our business purposes, and for other permissible purposes.

If required by applicable federal or state law, we will provide this information to others. We reserve the right to share personal information you provide with legal authorities if it is, in our sole opinion, necessary to investigate, prevent, or otherwise take action regarding suspected fraud, situations involving threats or potential harm, or if otherwise required by law (such as by a subpoena, court order, or other legal means). In the event that we reasonably believe that you have violated this Privacy Policy or the [Terms of Use] governing your use of the Radial Site, we reserve the right to use any information we have collected about you in connection with any efforts we make or made by any of our agents on our behalf.

We may also share personally and non-personally identifiable information with third parties that help manage the Radial Site and databases, as well as with our affiliates or other third parties.

Information You Provide to Us When You Use the Radial Site

If you submit information to us, we will use that information for the purposes for which it was submitted. For instance, if you sign up as a panelist (“Survey Panelist(s)”) for the Radial Insight online survey panel we will collect and store certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, email address, and/or similar information. Your Survey Panelist account information will be visible to designated representatives of Radial Insight, and our third-party website-services vendor, but not to other registered or public website users. Also, when you register as a Survey Panelist, you will be registered to receive email updates from Radial Insight.

Information you submit to us may also be used for other purposes. For instance, when you submit survey answers to us, you give us permission to receive, review, edit, store, post it on our website, and use your answers in appropriate settings, such as testimonials on the Radial Site. Data collected by Radial Insight may be anonymized into groups and analyzed in bulk. Data collected by Radial Insight, such as survey answers, may also be matched to your personally identifiable information and used for Radial Insight’s business purposes.

If you sign up to receive text messages from us as a Survey Panelist, Radial Insight may collect, store, and use your mobile phone number to send you messages. To opt out of our text messaging program, send the word RADIALSTOP to 95999 at any time. You understand and agree that text messages sent to your mobile phone may be generated using automated technology. Please do not sign up to receive text messages from us if you do not wish to receive automated messages.

You may choose to contact Radial Insight, by email or otherwise, with other feedback. Any personally identifiable information you provide in connection with such feedback will be collected and used by Radial Insight for the purpose of processing and responding to your inquiries or comments.

Information Collected Through Various Technologies Related to Your Use of the Radial Site

We collect general information about things like website use, including the number of unique visitors, the frequency with which they visit, the time Survey Panelists spend answering surveys, and services preferred are gathered for analysis. The data is analyzed in summary form, not on an individual basis. We gather this information so we can learn how many people visit the website, to see which pages are the most and least viewed, identify which websites are referring visitors to our site, and related information. The data helps us determine the extent to which visitors use certain parts of our website. In connection with these activities we may use some tools including cookies, IP addresses, and pixel tracking.

We use a standard technology called a “cookie” to collect information about how the Radial Site is used. Cookies are small strings of text stored on your computer’s hard drive. We use session cookies to identify your computer during a session, for example, when you sign into the Radial Site. If you create a user account or otherwise become a member, these cookies enable you to store your password for fast login and other conveniences and security. We do not store personal or sensitive information in cookies. Cookies cannot retrieve any other data from your hard drive, pass on computer viruses, or capture your email address. Most web browsers provide you the ability to accept or decline cookies, as well as to be warned each time a cookie is being sent. If you choose to decline cookies, however, you may not be able to take advantage of all aspects of the Radial Site.

We collect and analyze traffic on our website by keeping track of the IP addresses of our visitors. An IP address is the unique numeric identifier assigned to each computer browser accessing the Internet. An IP address, by itself, cannot identify you personally. However, when combined with other information provided by your Internet Service Provider (“ISP”), your IP address could be used to identify the computer originating a message.

Certain pages on the Radial Site contain tracking pixels. Tracking pixels allows us to obtain information such as the IP address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the pixel appears, the URL of the page on which the pixel appears, the time the page containing the pixel was viewed, the type of browser used to view the page, and the information in cookies.

Information We Collect through Other Trusted Sources That May Be Used to Update or Supplement the Information You Provided or We Collected

From time to time, we may run online advertisements on third-party websites to attract visitors to our site or to alert our supporters to special opportunities. Our advertising partners may use cookies and clear GIFs on the Radial Site and on the third-party sites on which our ads appear, which allow the advertising partner to track certain information about user behavior, such as “click-stream data.” Any use of information by an advertising partner would be governed by their terms of use and privacy policy, so be sure to be familiar with these policies prior to responding to online advertisements.

Radial Insight may maintain an active presence on any social network. Any information we collect from you on those sites will be governed by the privacy policies governing those social networks. Except as prohibited by those sites, we may use any personally identifiable information we collect from or about you from those sites in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.

SECURITY

Although the Radial Site has certain security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information you provide, no email or web transmission is completely secure against interception or incorrect routing. Thus, there is always the risk that unauthorized persons may access or use your personally identifiable information. If you are worried because your communication is very sensitive, do not send it electronically. Please consider this prior to submitting any information to us via the Radial Site. You use the Radial Site and send us such information at your own risk.

Although we take reasonable measures to protect your privacy on the Radial Site, we need your help. You have control over your own privacy. Think carefully before providing any personal or financial information online.

Remember that we cannot protect your privacy once you leave the Radial Site, such as by hyperlink. We do not control the privacy policies of other websites. So when you visit other websites, check each site’s privacy policy, and be careful about the information you submit or share. In addition, you should only forward our email messages or other website information to others through the buttons or links provided within the email or the Radial Site. When you use your email system’s forwarding capabilities, others may be able to take actions in your name and/or access your personal information.

HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE
